Once again, the EMS division of the Cumberland Goodwill Fire Rescue EMS extends this invitation for you to take advantage of our annual ambulance membership drive. It is through your generous support that Cumberland Goodwill is able to provide the community with excellent patient care while using the most up to date equipment.

Your donations enable us to staff our ambulances 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Currently Cumberland Goodwill has fifteen full-time emergency medical technicians providing around the clock coverage to the entire borough of Carlisle and North Middleton Township . In addition to these two municipalities we also provide coverage to parts of South Middleton, West Pennsboro, Middlesex, Dickinson, Lower Frankford townships and the Carlisle Barracks.

While your donation immensely helps to fund our operation, we are unable to provide our high quality level of service based solely on donations. Therefore, we participate in third party billing, this means we will bill any insurance agency such as Medicare or Medicaid for services. However, we will accept any payment from them as payment in full and our members are not responsible for the remainder of the bill. You will be responsible for paying all charges for all calls which are not medically necessary and for all wheelchair / stretcher van calls.

The annual ambulance membership covers your costs for medically necessary ambulance services provided by both Cumberland Goodwill and West Shore EMS, as allowed under state and federal laws. This includes both Advanced and Basic Life Support services.

Cumberland Goodwill’s Membership Program is not a contract for the provision of ambulance services. A mutual aid ambulance or an air medical service may respond when one of our units are not available and may bill you for their services. The Membership Program is not a solicitation for the offer or sale of an insurance product.
